Version 7 is not the current version!!

It turns out that the current version from the CrazyTalk web site is 8 - so I bought this version 7 from the Apple App Store, and it’s not even the current version.

Supposedly there is some bonus content that you get for registering the product. But if you buy from the Apple App Store, you are not issued a serial number, so you can’t register the product, so you can’t get the bonus content. I contected their support people, and was sent some instructions about how to log onto their web site for users. But I ran into the same problem - I don’t have a registered product, so the link I was told to click on to get the bonus content isn’t shown, and so I still don’t have the bonus content.

The sofware itself seems to work just fine and for the most part is pretty intuitive. However, if you do click on the help link, it sends you to the version 8 help page. You can search the CrazyTalk web site for version 7 help, and download the pdf with version 7 help… but I wish I had version 8 software instead!
